DeShawn Collins May Be Asked to Carry a Big Load

With Christopher Brown’s status for Saturday’s Big Game still a question, the Bears will turn to a group of backs to carry the ball. And none will be more important than DeShawn Collins.

The JC transfer from City College of San Francisco who had some injury issues early in the season, put his considerable talents on display against USC last week when Brown was forced to leave the game.

He scored both Cal touchdowns, one on an impressive 34-yard run in the fourth quarter.
