The Bears, UCLA and the Pac-12 were somehow able to put together a list-minute opponent switch last week when ASU had to bow out of Cal’s scheduled trip to Tempe but the results of the substituted game were anything but satisfactory to Cal coaches, players and fans alike.

“A lot of what we thought during the game was confirmed on the video,” said Wilcox of what they learned studying game film. “I think the things that stood out were the tackling on defense.
