Monday Day 8 Spring Ball Recap

Cal head coach Justin Wilcox met the press today, largely field questions on Saturday’s scrimmage and first day in pads as well as his thoughts on the team’s progress so far halfway through spring ball.

“Really good, competitive day,” said Wilcox of the scrimmage. “I thought the level of competitive energy on both sides of the ball and in our special teams competition was really good, which is what you need as a prerequisite.
