Expectations Versus Reality

Towards the end of Cal’s 2020-2021 men’s hoops season, as the losses piled up, disgruntled fans started getting more and more vocal. After a promising first year, where Mark Fox led the Bears out of the Pac-12 basement, going 14-18 on the season and 7-11 in Pac-12 play, Cal plummeted right back to its recently familiar resting place — last place in the league standings.
