Defensive Back Gamble Doing Double Duty

During Cal’s recently concluded spring football practices, several players boosted their stock in the eyes of the coaches.

Collin Gamble certainly did.

The sophomore defensive back, learning a new position while perfecting an old one, was a constant disruptive force for the Bears’ defense. 

“He is making great strides,” defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon said prior to Cal’s Spring Game. “He’s been around the ball.
