Cal Running Backs Can Carry the Load

The Cal running backs are right now a group of six players with varied sizes and skill sets. If you need a yard, they can get it. If you want more, well, a few of them can outrun any defensive back in the Pac-12. And they take nothing for granted.

“I have been pleasantly surprised with the work ethic and the detail these guys have put in leading up to spring ball, during spring ball and even after,” said position coach Aristotle Thompson in a telephone interview this week.
