Two Bears Lost for Season

Cal head football coach Justin Wilcox met with the media Tuesday morning prior to the Bears’ afternoon practice. He opened the session with some disheartening news. 

Both linebacker Blake Antzoulatos and safety Craig Woodson (26, above) who sustained injuries in practice last week, were officially declared out for the season.

“It is an unfortunate part of this game. Both those guys had put themselves in position to compete for playing time,” Wilcox said.
