Talalele Talks About Offer, Cal Junior Day Visit
On Cal’s Junior Day today, the Bears extended offer to 6-5/330 Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA) High School OL/DL Amos Talalele.
The offer and the visit made a big impression on the big Southbay lineman.
“Junior Day at Cal was fire!,” said Talalele. “I felt right at home. There was beautiful scenery and I felt welcomed by the coaches. It felt like there is something special for sure going on at Cal.
“What stood out to me the most about Cal’s Junior Day was how much coaches were involved and talked a lot with me, so it felt right.
The Bears hosted a talented group of offensive linemen and the 3 star lineman was able to bond with several on the visit.
“I talked the most with Simione Pale and Micah Banuelos,” said Talalele. “We’re thinking we can build something because we’re talented lineman and I think they are, too.”
The versatile Talelele is a mauler on the line and can play on either side of the ball, earning first team All-League honors.
Talelele currently also holds offers from USC, Washington and Nevada along with Cal.
