High Priority OLB Target Jaeden Moore Talks About Cal OV

6-4/230 Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA HIgh School OLB Jaeden Moore‍ took an official visit to up to Cal last weekend, a repeat visit to campus for Moore.

“My visit to Cal was great,” said Moore. It was a great memory, for sure.

“One thing that was great was getting to know coach So’oto more and going to a Giants game then checking out the Warriors arena. That was awesome.

“Jayden ott was my host. He was a cool dude. Real relateable and we clicked right away.”

A high recruiting priority from early on, Moore’s relationship with the staff has continued to grow throughout the recruiting process.

“I met the whole coaching staff a long time ago so when I came for the official, I had a relationship with all of the coaches pretty much. My convos with Coach Wilcox were great, too. I think Coach Wilcox is a great person and coach.

Overall, the return trip to Cal was a hit with the 3 star OLB.

“My impression of Cal is amazing,” said Moore. “I like where they are and are going as a program. I love the defense and how I fit in it. They have an amazing coaching staff and the degree, that would to take care of me

“I like all of the coaches. They are great people and coaches and real down to earth.”

A standout on both sides of the ball, Moore totaled an amazing 155 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, and 17 1/2 sacks, 30 TFL’s, 155 tackles 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumbles recovered on D and 60 receptions for 975 yds, 13 TD’s at receiver and 3 punt blocks and one field goal blocked on special teams as a 2021 junior.

What is the talented OLB looking for in a program?

“Academics, which Cal clearly has, a good coaching staff and a good fit, with family-based players,” noted Moore in his prior interview.

Besides Cal, the 3 star OLB holds offers from Oregon, Washington, Washington State, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon State and more. Besides Cal, he took official visits to Washington, Washington State and Arizona.
