Wednesday marks the beginning of college football's first ever early signing period. Recruits no longer have to wait until February to sign their letter of intent; they can now do so this week between Wednesday and Friday.

Cal has received 19 verbal commitments in its 2018 recruiting class, and just about all of them are expected to sign this week. However, there are still a couple of uncertainties.
