Overview:

Justin Wilcox went all in when hiring Jake Spavital as Cal’s new offensive coordinator.  Spavital runs an up-tempo system that’s derivative of the air raid and could not be more different from what Bear fans experienced under former OC Bill Musgrave.  Spavital’s resume as an OC is outstanding, in particular his work as the QB coach mentoring Johnny Manziel, Kyler Murray, Case Keenum, Will Grier, Geno Smith, and Davis Webb.
