The Justin Wilcox era’s signature has been strong defenses and his best defenses came when he had elite linebacker play in the form of current NFL player Jordan Kunaszyk and former P12 Defensive Player of the Year, Evan Weaver.
If there’s been a weak link in Wilcox’s defensive chain, it’s been the pass rush, a role that falls primarily on the outside linebacking crew.
