USC Preview: Trojans Come to Town a Troubled Team

January 3, 2018

USC, which began the season with high hopes, comes into Haas Pavilion Thursday night in bit of turmoil.

The Trojans (10-5, 1-1 Pac-12) will be minus their leading scorer for at least half of the game against Cal. That discipline comes on top of an FBI probe that has cost them the services of versatile guard De'Anthony Melton, prompted a couple of stellar recruits to decommit and led to the firing of an assistant coach.

This isn't what coach Andy Enfield had in mind for his team, which going into the season was given the best chance to unseat Arizona at the top of the conference standings.
