Bears Add All-Conference MSU OL Transfer Rush Reimer

The Bears added an important pickup with the commitment of 6-5/305 Montana State offensive lineman Rush Reimer. Rated a high 3 star in Rivals portal recruiting ratings, Reimer earned 1^st Team All-Big Sky Conference in 2023 and held offers from Texas Tech, Purdue, Oregon State, Boise State, Kansas State and more.

As a prep in Camas, WA, Reimer earned 1^st team All-State honors for his state championship squad. With the departure of starting OT Barrett Miller to graduation, Reimer could potentially slide into the starting left tackle position having played by tackle and guard for MSU.

As a soph in 2022, Reimer started all 14 games and played on an offensive line that finished second in the FCS in rushing and eighth in fewest sacks allowed.

Reimer’s commitment came right on the heels of transfer commitments from Notre Dame DT Aidan Keanaaina‍ and Idaho cornerback Marcus Harris‍ and is the 21^st addition to the 2024 class.
