Welcome to Cal, Lebron! You've made a great choice. I can't wait to watch you on the field in upcoming seasons.
Bears Pick Up Another Commitment in Hawaii Edge Lebron Williams
The Bears picked up their second commitment of their official visit weekend today with the commitment of Hawaii edge Lebron Williams. The 6-2/250 3 star senior held offers from UCLA, Washington State, San Diego State, Hawaii and Nevada before choosing the Bears. The official visit was Williams’ second OV after taking an official to UCLA on 5/31.
Williams announced his commitment on X saying: “First and foremost, I want to thank my Lord and Savior for the many trials that he brought into my life that have strengthened me. I want to thank my family for all their love and support through all this process and everything in my life. I also want to thank all the coaches that have offered me the opportunity to play at the next level. But after a great weekend on my visit with my family and after many prayers, I am truly blessed to say that I’m committed to the University of California, Berkeley. I still have many places to improve and prepare for my last high school season. RR4L! Go Bears!”
As a junior, Williams had 4 sacks, 6 TFL and 3 forced fumbles for the Red Raiders in helping lead Kahuku to the state championship game.
Williams becomes the tenth 2025 prep commit of the season, joining RBs Jojo Solis, Anthony League, WR Meyer Swinney, OL Ben Howard, DE Ike Okafor linebackers Carter Jones, Ke’Brion Winston and Beckham Barney as well as CB Kaden Cook.
Stay tuned for more on this weekend’s official visitors.
