The Cornerback Room:

Cal’s secondary had a rough year, in part, because the front 6/7 struggled to get consistent pressure, particularly on obvious passing downs. And in part because the Bears were forced to play more zone than ideal because the corners were not holding up in man coverage. Nohl Williams played well both against the run and pass but he struggled at times against elite WRs when forced to cover for longer than 3 seconds.
