California’s inaugural Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) men’s basketball schedule for the 2024-25 season was unveiled Tuesday on the ACC Network’s Nothing But Net show. With their nonconference slate announced earlier this month, the Golden Bears’ full 2024-25 schedule is complete.

Television designations for all 20 of Cal’s ACC contests as well as game times for 16 of the 20 games can be found below. The Bears will play eight times on ESPN’s family of networks – ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU – and 12 times on the ACC Network.

Cal’s ACC opener will be against rival Stanford on Dec. 7 at Haas Pavilion, as it was previously announced Monday. After dipping back into nonconference play for three contests between Dec. 10-21, the Bears will fully dive into the rest of ACC play on New Year’s Day at Pitt, followed by another road game at Clemson on Jan. 4.

A pair of two-game home stands against Virginia (Jan. 8) and Virginia Tech (Jan. 11) as well as Florida State (Jan. 22) and Miami (Jan. 25) will sandwich a road trip to Tobacco Road to face North Carolina (Jan. 15) and North Carolina State (Jan. 18). The first month of the calendar year will conclude with a road game at SMU on Jan. 29.

Cal plays its next three in Berkeley against Syracuse (Feb. 1) – a nationally televised contest on ESPN2 – NC State (Feb. 5) and Wake Forest (Feb. 8) before returning to the road for games at Duke (Feb. 12), Georgia Tech (Feb. 15) and Stanford (Feb. 22). The Bears’ final ACC home stand will come against SMU and Boston College on Feb. 26 and March 1, respectively. The regular season concludes with consecutive road games at Louisville (March 5) and Notre Dame (March 8).

Season tickets for the 2024-25 campaign can be purchased by visiting CalBears.com/Tickets, calling 800-GO-BEARS (462-3277) or emailing goldstandard@berkeley.edu. Fans can support the Bears through the Cal Men's Basketball Excellence Initiative or the California Legends Collective.

^lol @ Wake Forest...

Very nice schedule, it minimizes travel during the school term, almost looks someone o Tobacco Road tried to accommodate our guys::

-Toughest road loop travel-wise of Pitt+Clemson, and a Carolina trip both happen during the winter break, 2 out of the 4 double road game trips are when school is out..

-Louisville and ND paired up - Lville is on the Indiana border, bus ride to South Bend/ND.

-We play 20 conference games, so that's 3 teams we play twice. These are: Furd, SMU, which we will play twice every year from now on, and NC State. The wolfpack is supposed to be an upper-tier team, but Furd and SMU are supposed to be BDWs.

-On the down side, a lot of the tougher teams that we play once are road games - UNC, Duke, Clemson. On the other hand, if those are games we lose on paper, those might as well be on the road, which gives us a greater chance vs the other teams at home.

Am upper half (8th or better) ACC finish is a good stretch goal for the season. Top 5 would be really ambitious, that has been the usual cutoff for the NCAA tourney.
