Women’s Basketball ACC Schedule Released
3BERKELEY – The California women's basketball team’s conference schedule for its inaugural season in the Atlantic Coast Conference was announced by the ACC office Tuesday.
The Golden Bears’ conference schedule includes 10 games against teams that played in the 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament highlighted by a home matchup against Final Four participant North Carolina State on Jan. 9.
The Bears will open ACC play at Haas Pavilion when they host the Battle of the Bay against Stanford on Dec. 13 before heading on their first conference road trip to take on Clemson on Jan. 2 and SMU on Jan. 5. The Bears then return to Berkeley to host previously mentioned NC State followed by Florida State on Jan. 12.
Other notable matchups include trips to Cameron Indoor Arena to take on Duke on Jan. 16 and South Bend, Indiana, to face Notre Dame on Feb. 9 – both of which made it to last year’s Sweet 16.
Other conference contests at Haas Pavilion include marquee games against North Carolina on Jan. 30 and Syracuse on Feb. 16 before the Bears close out the conference season hosting Georgia Tech on Feb. 27 and Miami on March 2.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, the ACC Tournament will take place March 5-9 at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina.
