Ioanna Krimili Earns All-ACC Honors
Named To All-ACC Second Team
California women’s basketball guard Ioanna Krimili has been named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Second Team it was announced by the conference office on its ACC PM studio show Tuesday. Krimili will go down as one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in women’s college basketball history as she added to her long list of accolades this season.
The native of Heraklion, Greece, is the nation’s active leader in career games with at least five made 3-pointers (28) and total 3-pointers (431). Her career total ranks ninth on the NCAA’s all-time career list. This season she also surpassed 2,500 career points making her just the sixth player in women’s college basketball history to have at least 400 3-pointers and 2,500 points.
Krimili has already connected on 94 triples this year, which sits atop the all-time single-season list for Cal and ranks 10th on the ACC’s list. She is just three shy from tying her single-season career high of 97 that she set in 2020-21. Krimili is currently second in the nation this season for games with at least three made 3-pointers with 21 such games.
In addition to earning All-ACC Second-Team honors, Krimili was named to the 2024-25 USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year and Women's College All-Star Game Watch Lists.
