This is a must listen podcast with Mike and former Cal rugby player Robert Paylor. Many of you will remember when he was paralyzed on a dirty play in the ncaa's 8 years ago. He talks about his amazing recovery to the point where he's at right now and a lot more. Will publish the video and a full transcript tomorrow.

Fight, and faith..........those are just two words that can describe Robert's incredible story. When you talk about quality men, you talk about Robert. I'm anxious to hear this interview.

One correction to Moraga.........the playoffs you referred to were not NCAA playoffs. Rugby falls under the governing body of the College Rugby Association of America.

Its a very common error.

I was there that tragic day at Santa Clara University standing at the back of the endzone no more than 40-yards away when Paylor was taken down by a dirty play. I remember the two trainers that came running onto the field to attend to Paylor while play was still ongoing. One of the trainers had to put his arm out as if to shield Paylor from an oncoming pack of players. It was bone-chilling to see his left arm fall off the gurney in a "rubbery" manner as the paramedics secured him for transport. I will never ever forget that.

I've followed his courageous story of family, brotherhood, faith, perseverance, and resilience.
Can't wait for his interview with Mike Pawlawski.
