Bears Pick Up 2026 Murrieta OT Elisha Faamatuainu
The Bears picked up their second offensive lineman of the 2026 class with the addition of 6-5/330 Murrieta OT Elisha Faamatuainu today on the Bears' first official visit weekend of the summer.
"Cal was the right fit for me because the first thing that they cared about was my family’s wellbeing. That and my ideals of why I play football align with Coach Wilcox's coaching philosophy," the Cal commit said.
The high 3 star Rancho Murrieta OT had a strong group of early offers, including Oregon, USC, Auburn, Michigan State, Utah, SMU and more before choosing the Bears.
Faamatuainu joined fellow offensive lineman Artem Korchagin as early 2026 OL pickups for the Bears along with five defensive commits in 4 star edge Camron Brooks, 3 star LBs Jaxon Pyatt and Jonathan McKinley (also visiting this weekend) and DBs Jayden Crowder and Deon Jackson.
The Bears also pulled in two additional commits from this weekend who have yet to announce that will run their 2026 commitment total to nine players to-date.
Stay tuned for more updates on the official visit weekend coming soon.
