The California men’s basketball team unveiled its 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) schedule Tuesday. The Golden Bears’ second ACC campaign is highlighted by all four of last year’s NCAA Tournament teams from the conference coming to Berkeley, including national powerhouses Duke and North Carolina.
The Blue Devils (Jan. 13 or 14) and Tar Heels (Jan. 17), who have a combined 39 Final Four appearances and 11 national championships, will each play in Haas Pavilion for the very first time. The Bears previously hosted each program once at the Oakland Arena with Duke coming in 1982 and UNC visiting in 1998.
The two North Carolina blue bloods lead the NCAA in Final Four appearances with UNC at the top at 21 and Duke in second with 18. The Blue Devils are coming off a 2025 Final Four appearance while the Tar Heels were the 2022 national runners-up.
Cal’s conference slate begins at home just before the new year with Louisville (Dec. 30 or 31). The Cardinals are the first of four 2025 March Madness teams on the docket and ended last season as the 21st-ranked team in the country. The Bears open their conference road schedule at Virginia (Jan. 6 or 7), which they defeated 75-61 last January for their first-ever ACC win.
Clemson, the final of four ACC teams to make the Big Dance, comes to town on Feb. 7. The Tigers have reached the NCAA Tournament in each of the last two seasons, including an Elite Eight run in 2024.
Cal will see rival Stanford twice, playing a home-and-home series with the Cardinal. The Bears visit the Farm on Jan. 24 and play host on Feb. 21. The home game against Stanford will kick off the final homestand of the regular season, which also features matchups with SMU (Feb. 24 or 25) and Pitt (Feb. 28).
The regular season ends on the road at Georgia Tech on March 3 and Wake Forest on March 7.
Final game dates, times, and television/streaming designations for Cal's ACC schedule will be announced at later dates.
