Friday Night Lights is back for a week four look at how Cal football commits and their teams performed last weekend

Camron Brooks‍ – 2026 DE from Thomasville, GA. The undefeated Yellow Jackets have a bye this week then take on Lee County on 9/26.

Tyree Sams‍ – 2026 WR from Fresno, CA. Sams had a quiet game in their dominating victory over San Ramon Valley, 43-14. Sams had 4 receptions for 80 yards, a touchdown, and a 2 pt conversion to tack on the solid win. The Broncos take on Frontier on 9/26.

Taimane Purcell‍ – 2026 TE from Honolulu, HI. The Warriors got a big win in a nail biting finish over Punahou 30-31. Final stats have no been uploaded. Purcell and the squad will have another bye week before they face off with Saint Louis on October 4th.

Kamo'i Huihui-White‍ – 2026 OL from Honolulu, HI. The Crusaders lost a tough one against powerhouse St John Bosco 49-20. Final stats were not uploaded for the game. The #1 team in Hawaii will be back in action on 9/25 against Punahou.

Elisha Faamatuainu‍ – 2026 OL. Faamatuainu and offense kept on rolling as they blast King 49-7. Faamatuainu and the hogs up front assisted with a large output of the offensive that rushed for 213 yards and passed for 194 yards. The Nighthawks look to keep the win streak going against San Clemente on 9/26.

Jaxon Pyatt‍ – 2026 LB. The Wildcat defense locked down Overland as they blanked them 70-0. Pyatt was likely subbed out early as he recorded 5 total tackles and an INT. The undefeated Arvada West Wildcats have a bye this week before they take on Denver Sout on 10/3.

Artem Korchagin‍ – 2026 OL. The Yellow Jackets had a bye week and look to destroy Lee County on 9/26.

Jayden Crowder‍ – 2026 CB. The Eagles had the week off and go up against Bishop Gorman on 9/27.

EJ Morgan‍ – 2026 WR. Morgan was back to being a reliable target in the close win over Liberty 35-33. Morgan was able to grab 6 receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown. The Bengals will have a bye before playing Clovis North on 10/2.

Nemyah Telona‍ – 2026 DT. De La Salle continues their winning streak over Grant 47-20. The stats were not uploaded for Telona. The Spartans look to stay in the top 10 in California as they go up against St Marys on 09/26.

Luca Wolf‍ – 2026 TE. The NFL Academy has not updated the game results against BNL National on 9/21. Wolf will be back in action again on 09/27 against Manchester Titans.

Ernest Nunley‍ – 2026 CB. Western rolled on against San Dimas 55-6. Nunley against put up stats in all kinds of different boxes. Nunley had 1 reception for 11 yards, 1 INI, and 3 pass deflections. The Pioneers will have a bye week before they take on Capistrano Valley on 10/03.

Esaiah Wong‍ – 2026 OL. Kailua blanked Aiea in dominating fashion 42-0. Wong anchored the offensive line by opening up the run game as they racked up 244 rushing yards on 7.2 yards per carry. The Surfriders also got it done through the air with 130 passing yards. Next up is Nanakuli on 09/27.

Rocky Cummings‍ – 2026 ATH. Carlsbad won by forfeit over Valley Center. Cummings and the Lancers will have a bye week before hosting Torrey Pines at home on 10/3.

Kingston Schirmer‍ – 2026 DT. #6 Centennial (CA) got another big win over Rancho Cucamonga 42-14. Schirmer has a slow game as he totaled 2 tackles and 1 QB hurry. The Huskies will get a bye before they go against Roosevelt 10/02.

Brady Palmer‍ – 2026 QB. Palmer and the Dons put up ridiculous numbers in the blow out win 49-0 over Helix. Palmer went 14/17 for 320 passing yards and 3 touchdowns through the air as well as 42 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Palmer will look to keep the offense going against Granite Hills on 09/26.

Nainoa Lopes‍ – 2026 QB. The Crusaders took a tough loss over St John Bosco, 49-20. The final stats were not updated. Lopes and the offense will have the week to regroup before going against Kamehameha 10/04.

Jonathan McKinley‍ – 2026 LB. Centennial came out and routed Rancho Cucamonga, 42-14. McKinley made a major impact during the game with 5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for a loss, 1 QB hurry and a blocked field goal. The Huskies have a bye this week before playing Roosevelt on 10/02.

Frank Fanua‍ – 2026 DT. Fanua and the Matadors won in a close one against Poway, 35-32. Fanua recorded a fumble recovery in the close win. The Matadors looks to extend the win streak to 4 against Oceanside on 09/26.

Deon Jackson‍ – 2026 CB. Jackson and the Jackrabbits routed Jordon, 56-7. Jackson had 2 tackles and a block punt in the ruling effort. Long Beach looks to keep the winning going on the road against Lakewood on 09/26.
