New Cal Kickers Putting Best Foot Forward

Unlike most skill areas where the Cal football team returns players who made major contributions a year ago, the Bears must replace both their 2017 placekicker and punter.

Matt Anderson, who handled the placekicking duties the last three years and leaves as the school’s all-time leading scorer, has exhausted his eligibility. Dylan Klumph, the punter the last two seasons, will graduate in May and transfer to Arizona where he will be eligible immediately.
