Cal's Sixth Practice Beats the Rain

Cal went through a two-hour practice, the sixth of the spring, Wednesday afternoon, just beating the rain. Except for a few stragglers who were trapped on the field doing media interviews, the Bears were safely in the locker room by the time the rain began falling.

Offensive coordinator Beau Baldwin said he felt Wednesday’s practice was an improvement on Monday’s, which he said still showed the rust of the two-week spring break layoff.
