Defense Rules the Day Spring Game

Cal wrapped up spring practice with the annual Spring Game Saturday in Memorial Stadium, and although it did not score any points, the defense probably won the day.

“Offensively, a week ago in the last scrimmage the offense really kind of got after the defense, ” coach Justin Wilcox said afterward. “Today they had their moments, but didn’t make as many plays and maybe weren’t quite as crisp as they probably  would have liked to have been.
