The Beardog Report: Cal Linebacker Commit Zach Zimos

Cal continued its recent roll with defensive recruiting in the 2019 class, securing the verbal commitment from Zach Zimos, a 6'4" 210 pound heat-seeking missile from Fort Bend Travis HS in Richmond, Texas.  Ranked three stars, Zimos played mostly safety (usually in the box) or stand up OLB off the edge in high school and is slated to arrive on Cal's campus as an OLB after graduating from high school.
