Ruggers Face Life U. in Title Game

Here they go again. The Cal rugby team is playing for the national championship on Saturday afternoon at Santa Clara’s Stevens (formerly Buck Shaw) Stadium.

The bigger news would be if Coach Jack Clark’s team was not in the title game. The Bears (22-2) have won 24 national championships since Clark took over in 1984, including the last two in a row. They have advanced to the title game six straight times, winning four of them.
