Day 6 of Fall Camp (Full Pads)

August 9, 2018

Today's practice featured the Bears in full pads for the first time in fall camp. They were able to practice one-on-one tackling drills, going to the ground, and also play portions of 11-on-11 play tacking to the ground, as well, mixed with thud tempo -contact, with no tackling to the ground.

Senior running back Pat Laird saw his first live reps of the fall, though he was held out during live tackling to keep him healthy.

The defense won the day today, getting fairly consistent pressure, holding the point of attack and limiting rushing and passing yards fairly effectively.
