Outside Linebacker Goode Isn't Half Bad

August 19, 2018

After two weeks of practice many of the Cal players have performed in a way to catch the attention of coaches and teammates. But if there is a star of the early drills, it is sophomore outside linebacker Cameron Goode.

The Texas native was establishing himself as a force last year, starting the first nine games and pulling off possibly Cal’s most important play of 2017 before an injury prematurely ended his season. He returned in the spring, soon became perhaps the most effective player and has carried that into fall camp.
