Funches Has Become Leader on the Defense

With a couple of exceptions the Cal defense has acquitted itself fairly well this year, and no one has been more important than outside linebacker Alex Funches. The senior from Denton, Texas has been on the field almost 100 per cent of the time when the Bears are on defense and everybody, friend and foe, knows he’s is there.
