Cal Blows Early Lead, Loses Opener to Nevada, 22-17

Cal handily won the first quarter against Nevada Saturday night at Memorial Stadium in the football season opener.

However a game consists of four quarters and the last three belonged to the Wolf Pack, who came away with a 22-17 victory.

Nevada quarterback Carson Strong, the onetime Cal Bear wannabee, showed why he was Mountain West Conference Player of the Year in 2020.

I think it is appropriate that the write up of the dismal performance last night is being reserved for the premium members. Hiding it just makes it more obvious. The pathetic performance of the football is only matched by the pathetic effort to coerce members into going premium. First of all, none of your writing or content is premium in quality and secondly, why would we pay anything to be associated with Cal football?
