Such a winnable game. For having a "defensive" head coach, that was a pathetic display, particularly on third down. The end of the first half decisions and choice to take the PT off the board cost the game. This is likely a 3-4 win season and a big step backward. Time to clean house after this season and also get a quarterback with an actual arm.

TBF, Deng was knocked out of the game early. Also, Goode made some big plays (and got some BS penalties called against him by the homer refs). So it seems the issue is more with depth than the starters..

TCU gifted the Bears a pick-six, and also missed an easy FG attempt. They spotted Cal 9 points.
The Cal defense's failure to get enough 3rd down stops meant that TCU's offense could score more than enough points to overcome their own miscues.
