Again, this had nothing to do with Garbers' arm.

Are people really harping on Garbers? He wasn't the problem today.
Yeah, I don't understand it. Garbers was excellent and made some tough throws and some were dropped that should have been caught.

The bigger issue to me were some of the low percentage play calls and don't get me started on the extra point debacle and the atrocious special teams.

That is a pretty good summary. I'll just add that the defense was particularly bad at getting off the field on 3rd and long. Quite surprising and so disheartening.

Frequently we played soft to keep the receivers in front of us and then let them get past us anyway.

True. TCU's skill position players kept getting past our D, with (i.e., missed tacklea) or without the ball.

This team is not good.

Had to listen to Starkey and Pawlawski off and on today, and now scrolling through the thread for the real flavor of the game, this comment from the Sycasey-voice-of-reason is what stopped me and has me a little concerned.

So I wasn't imagining that.

My takeaway:

I ordered ESPNU (and associated sports package) from my cable company, The Wave, 5 minutes into the game. It resulted in Wave taking $50 off my monthly cable bill with promotions.
