Wallowing in the misery of a 1-5 week, dragging my season total down to an uninspiring 10-15-1. Once again I'm reminded why I never gamble with real money. Anyway, here's the link to last week, https://bearinsider.com/forums/2/topics/104016/replies And here's this week's my bank account is still safe picks. Odds for home team, my don't hurt yourself laughing selections are in italics.

Wazzoo @ Cal -7.5: Believe it or not, the spread actually ticked up a half point in Cal's favor. Taking the Bears to get out couged by the Puddytats. Cal covers.

U$C @ Colorado +7: Toejams are a hot mess. But Ralphie can't get out of her own way lately. Taking Condoms to cover.

Mutts @ River Rats +2: This should be a good game. Flea bitten hounds seem to be getting it together. Don't expect rodents to play at such a high level two weeks in a row. Butt sniffers cover.

Rubber Duckies @ Furd +8: Quackers sleep walked through game with Arizona and still won handily. They'll be wider awake this time. Duckies cover.

Spawn of Satan @ bRuins -3.5: This could also be a good game. Unfortunately, I have to take fUCLA to cover.

Mormon Marauders and Mildcats in showdown with BYE. Zona still loses.

Hell froze over. 5-1 last week and now 2 games over breakeven. Time to go back to being a bottom dwelling loser:

Cal to cover. Because this injured, mistake ridden Cal team will benefit from someone else "Cougin It". Thanks Cougars.
SC to cover. Because they will fire their HC again in order to motivate players. Hey, it worked agains the Cougars.
OSU to cover . Huskies are not good, Beavs appear to be good, and OSU is at home.
UCLA to cover, but reserve the right to change depending on DTR's status, etc.
Ducks to cover. Furd was very banged-up against UCLA, and I'm not sure who is back (like their top RBs?). Furd had 67 yards rushing against UCLA (not net of QB sacks), and the overrated Oregon defense may be able to take advantage. Oregon has injuries and I don't know who is back. May change my mind deeding on injury reports.

You can find injury reports here:http://www.statfox.com/cfb/injuries.asp
We did pretty well last week. I went 6-0 and got back to .500 for the season. The week prior I went 1-8. Maybe I needed some pac-12 home cookin'. At least I'm as consistent as 2 halves of Cal football.

OSU with the points at home over UW is worth putting a lot of money on.

Cal big over WSU. This might be the "best" win of the season. I use the term loosely.

Luckily we have Arizona and Colorado on the schedule this year too.

No doubt, but those barely look like functioning teams. Good lord...

After that, our best chance at 6 wins is Furd and OSU. But I don't know that Sac. St. counts for bowl eligibility.

I've climbed back to respectability at 15-16 after going 6-0 last week. Here are my picks this week:

In a battle of teams without QBs, USC beats Colorado 27-17. SC does have Slovis, who was a pre-season heisman candidate. But, if your a Trojan fan, you want Jaxson Dart, who is out for while. This would be worse but Colorado has a decent defense and USC is not being coached, no matter who it is.

Both these teams have injury issues, but Oregon has better depth to handle it. Plus Oregon's running offense is a bad match for Stanford's D, which is really bad agains the run. Furd will pass against Oregon but Oregon will control the clock and TOP on the ground, keeping the ball from Furd enough to carry out a solid win on the road. It's Oregon 37-24.

I agree with the idea that this is the best bet if your betting. I do think that Washington will wake up and find themselves one of these weeks. But Oregon St. is really well coached, especially on offense, and they are rolliing. I think OSU wins 31-21

This will be a really close and entertaining game and it is too close to call, which means I'm taking the point and ASU. Of course it could very well go to OT, in which case, if UCLA wins by a TD, I'll be taking a loss on this one.

Both teams are hard to read, especially because we don't know if WSU QB De Laura will be playing. He is the better QB IMO. On Cal's side, is Deng back, who knows. Whenever we play WSU, it will be an offensive game. But it won't get out of hand. Cal wins 38-31 but WSU covers.

Last week I went a respectable 4-2, so I'm bearly breaking .500 this season at 17-16-1.

This week:
WSU @ Cal: I got no illusions about the Bears, but I think we can put together a solid performance at home. Meanwhile WSU is floundering. If their RB Borghi was in top shape I'd be more worried, but he got banged up last week and didn't finish out the game. I'm hanging my hat on that and taking Cal to cover.

USC @ Colorado: I see nothing special in the Buffs, while the Trojans do have talent. Even when doing poorly, I think USC can still win by a touchdown over Colorado.

Oregon @ Stanford: Ducks to win and cover, straight and simple.

UW @ OSU: Yes, this should be a good game. I'm going with the Beavers, only because they are at home.

ASU@UCLA: Bruins are better team overall, and with the homefield advantage, I expect them to win and cover.

Utah beats the bye, but Arizona fails to do so.

Stanfurd will beat the Ducks who are really frauds just like the Furdies...
