I dont know when I have cared less about Cal football. Between the joke of an in-person experience, the post 6pm start times that force a family vs football decision, the absolutely horrendous product on the field, and the ABSOLUTELY uncompromising acceptance of mediocrity... I just dont have any emotion left. I spent a quarter taking out a blackberry bush, and didnt miss anything.

TBH, this is the first home game I have missed in my life (a family member's negative covid test came too late to go to the game), but I didnt miss it. I thought I would, until the first drive of the game.

Holmoe's 2001 squad would absolutely beat the team that showed up today. This entire athletic department is in complete shambles and needs a total overhaul.

Wilcox enjoys a lot of goodwill among donors, AD, players, Chancellor, and campus. I wouldn't be shocked if he's able to keep his job after a disaster season.

Watching Sac State march up and down the field on the defense my immediate thought was that this could be a 1-11 team. I would love to be wrong.

It's not the Coaches. There is no real Pac 12 talent on this this team.

Well yes, it's obvious that too many donors don't care about anything resembling a successful program as long as they can jock sniff around the program.

Notice no O Line? Every year the .O Line is said to be improved and every year It's a lie.

6 points at home against the worst team in conference (besides us). Just appalling.

Tosh can at least recruit. Wilcox can't coach or recruit. Having Tosh's recruiting ability raises the floor of the program with better talent alone. It really can't get any worse than it is right now.

eh, I am saying Cal isnt in a position to look down its nose at anyone willing to work here.

And loyalty? Cal is not going to find a more loyal coach than a guy who left Cal and took its recruits with him. Cal is a pit stop to a real team or out of the Power5.

On the list of people who MIGHT be willing to come to Cal and MIGHT do well, and that Cal MIGHT be able to afford, Tosh ranks pretty high, and people are still mad about something that happened a decade ago.

I think Oregon might surprised at how easy the game is.

Give Wilcox decent players and .he would win. But, Wilcox cannot recruit Pac 12 talent at Cal. I'm not defending Him, with no players You lose to Wazzu and Udub. It's obvious.
