Can't wait to see the designs.

Never heard of them...

Designs for other schools are vintage and cartoon like, so not super clean looking if that's what one wants. Definitely some humorous and clever designs out there.

Probably won't have one of a bear mounting a tree though.

Company has seen huge growth innjaur 2-3 years:

https://theathletic.com/2192424/2020/11/12/homefield-apparel-twitter-college-sports-apparel-big-new-saturday/

https://www.homefieldapparel.com/

Seems similae to vintage brands, not sure which company has better quality, or how the materials compare.

https://vintagebrand.com/

Anyway, hope they look good and put a little more thought into the Cal designs that just randomly slapping a down a trademarked slogan to pair with an unrelated trademarked logo on the same design.

I swear they used to have Cal apparel, but there no link on their homepage. They still seem to have some Cal memorabilia:

Supposedly they had contracts with 6 D1 midwest schools and $800 left in the bank in 2019. They are well over 100 schools now (article is from 2020). The company started out doing gear for non D1 universities, making small on demand orders.

Interesting info about getting liscensed through CLC too - they pay a $500 app fee for each D1 school. Then some amount to of royalties are collected up front - like if the rate is 10%, they pay $1000 and only pay again after hitting 10k (per school). And some schools/trademarks have a higher royalty rate.

Hope Cal fans buy enough that homefield doesn't lose their shirt!

Why would college students anywhere be commuting to port facilities? Some inner desire to set the textbooks aside and pick up some side cash working as longshoremen?

Really like the Gold Oski one, but agree that they had a lot of other designs they could have worked with overall.

I'm was personally hoping for a more fierce Oski (most of theirs look pretty docile). Like maybe this one!

I bought this 1934 retro: https://www.ebbets.com/collections/collegiate-football-jerseys/products/university-of-california-berkeley-1934-authentic-football-jersey

It's spendy, but MAN is it well made and sweet. I've always liked that Zebra Stripe look similar to the letterman's sweaters. The workanship, the detail, and overall quality are unbelievably great. So despite it's steep price, I'm ultra-satisfied with what they produced. Takes about 6-8 weeks to deliver, but it's worth the wait.

I also bought the Morton Zebra strip retro from Retro Brand Authentics. Its nicely done as well, and more like a shirt where the Ebbets.com retro is knitted in wool. My only issue with the Morton shirt is they put a white trim around the numeral, which I hate and is not true to how the jersey actually looked. The only time a white trim works around a "gold" numeral is if the gold is really bold. But when the gold is more yellowish, the white trim makes it look even more yellow, which wimps it out. But the Morton throwback was considerably less expensive, and they did a nice job (otherwise) in their reproduction including the sleeve length, which was not a full sleeve when the Bears wore them. So on warmer days I'll wear the Morton jersey, and on cooler/colder days my 1934 throwback is the choice.

I like that there's a Bear Territory shirt -- it'd be good to really incorporate that into our brand.

I think I saw someone wearing a "The Band is Out On The Field" shirt on Saturday.

Word of warning: Got my shirt today and it fits somewhere between a size small and medium and I ordered large. Every piece of clothing I own is size large and none fits tight. It's not even like tighter fitting euro large. It's flat out small/medium.

I had my 6 foot 135 lb son try it on and it was even snug on him.

I'll pass on my experience with either a refund or exchange with an XL but it was so small that I'm wary XL will fit like a medium.

Hopefully that's a one off with this particular t-shirt design and not with other clothing anyone has ordered. Anyone else have theirs delivered yet?

I used the wear large t shirts then xl. Now i wont buy unless xxl. They are making them smaller everywhere, especially in Europe. My weight is the same.

If a large is like a small then I'm glad that their "our tees have an athletic fit" note was one of the reasons I didn't end up buying any shirt at all despite being hyped about the release. Their XXL is probably like a large.

Got their small and it fit me really well! I'm pretty lean and usually wear XS and it felt slightly larger than that. If they get more designs out, I'd definitely be interested in picking up another.

I'll give an XL a try even though nothing I own is XL. Even with that, the original large was so small I'm concerted XL won't be big enough but fingers crossed.

Lol I finally got my XL replacement and it fits like a regular XXL. I'm swimming in it. I can't win. A large that fits like a small then an XL that fits like XXL. Makes me wonder if they sent a kids L the first time. Trying to decide if I should go back and try an L again and see if it fits even within the realm of a normal L or just return it and get a refund. The original L made a skinny Euro cut L look like a regular XXL in comparison.

xl fit me well, with a tiny bit of extra room. 6.5 245 so definitely not running tight compared to other modern cut brands.

Then you can imagine why their XL didn't come close to fitting someone 5'10/180.

I've had euro large's fit a bit tight before but never like it was literally painted on. I'm thinking it had to be mislabeled. No way it was even an adult medium let alone large.

I think I'll roll the dice one last time and try a large again because I like the design. If it's the same tiny large again, I give up.

they also sent me two of the exact same shirt, in two separate packages that arrived the same day, despite me only ordering one. fit was the same between the two though.

Mystery solved. After receiving a large that was skin tight like a small and an extra large that fit like an XXL, I rolled the dice and exchanged the XL for another large. This time it fits fine. Obviously the first one was mislabeled. Glad I didn't give up!
