Saw this a billboard with this image driving on the 710 freeway going away from Long Beach. Wonder if this is worth the money? Don't ever recall seeing a Cal Billboard in this area. In this day and age probably better to spend the money making a more targeted social media push but I thought it was interesting that it was here and wondered how many of them there were.

I think the billboard misses the mark, it doesn't display the words "University of Arizona." Non college football fans won't recognize what this is. What is "Twenty Tucson" supposed to mean? 2022?

This is a lotta money. I suspect it's short term - testing the market to see what kind of response they get, if any. Maybe a donor who owns a billboard business and insists it'll work.

Potential recruits and football coaches will recognize the logo and know exactly what this means. I'm guessing they have 20 guys from SoCal? Who knows.

driving by Stanford there is always a billboard showing Stanford Football or Stanford Mens and Women's basketball

Looks like it's on their property so maybe it's 'free advertising' but I always thought it's too bad Cal doesn't have a place for a similar billboard in a high traffic area
