Question I had from day 2 of our media rights package.
At the time, apparently Larry Scott had a lot of things in his favor. He had Fox, ESPN and Turner bidding on FB rights. He played them off of each other, and got a half-assed deal with Fox and ESPN!
Turner seems like the last giant that needs to be tapped. They do live sports well, and shine with the NBA, Nascar and the NCAA playoffs.
They have 3 networks, so we could easily piggyback games during west coast prime time. I think they along w/ Amazon and Apple, Turner should be our first options. For ESPN, Fox, ABC and CBS, we are 2nd rate.
The other option is NBC. They already do ND FB, and have plenty of good sports from the NFL to the Olympics, they also have other channels they can broadcast our games so as not to disrupt prime time Saturday Slots.
