Dump Carr and his $121M extension and sign Chase!

Carr never had that kind of protection at Cal.
We'll see what happens when he has to throw a long sideline pass.
Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised.
It's amazing how NFL ready Cal players are, despite the scouting reports. I don't think Garbers will ever be a full year starter in the NFL, but he could be an adequate back-up and end up with a solid NFL career. It's probably not going out on a limb to say he could do better than Josh Rosen.prospeCt said:

I still think the Raiders will want to test his arm a bit more in the coming weeks before making a decision. But he passed the first test and got some good pub. from the broadcasters. That can't hurt.bearister said:
Josh was good with 5 seconds of protection. A lot of SC QB's suffered the same fate (Yes, I know he is fUCLA).

I was impressed that Tarico immediately knew who he threw it to and knew that they had been teammates. although I think for only 1 year.
Actually it seems that it was Bowers throwing to Veasy although both were at QB in 2017, Veasy's last season at Cal.
