I think you're right. Eventually may come sooner than I initially thought. A 7:30 pm night game isn't a call for for much celebration. Thankfully I'm going to be out of town on the east coast and I won't bother to stay up late to watch the festivities. The loss against Colorado was disappointing, but I will be at the game to support our students. I upgraded to Field Club tickets. Based on my experience trying to sell basketball tickets for games I could not attend, I do not believe it is possible to sell any tickets on Stubhub for a $1.KoreAmBear said:
Support our student athletes and the other students that put on Cal football games at home (TCMB, Rally Comm, Cheer(?), Bearettes). Going to Cal football games predates and has nothing to do with Wilcox, Musgrave, McClure and Knowlton. It is about reconnecting with alums and family, tailgating and enjoying beer and Top Dogs together in the perfect setting -- Strawberry Canyon. There are only 6 of these in Berkeley per year. Don't let bad coaching steal that from you. Big lesson/takeaway from the Pandemic -- don't let events like these go by you may never experience them again.

Do it right before the next game. Catching people off guard like that caused a burst of additional excitement.
