Don Bishop, who rowed for Cal under the legendary Ky Egbert from 1956 to 1958 recently passed away in Helena, MT. Don, an orthopedic surgeon and Viet Nam veteran was an ardent supporter of Cal sports and the Bancroft Library, traveling from Montana every year to attend both basketball and football games as well as an occasional baseball game. His dream, like so may of us was Cal's return to the Rose Bowl.

.....and, like so many of us, that Rose Bowl proved a bridge too far.

Sorry to hear of his passing. Sounds like a great guy.
