O-line looks bigger which is great! Noticed Hightower is not listed in the newcomer section - is he still on the team / playing this year?
Can't wait for Cal football!

The Official Roster has been updated and can be found here
Bear Insider will update its roster shortly
Some notes (all relative to last Fall’s roster):
I think the newcomer section was just for summer additions. Hightower was here in Spring just somewhat injured. BI had an article on him maybe 10 days ago. He is listed on the roster as #7.Econ141 said:

The OL will keep the DL healthy.heartofthebear said:
Interesting- a quick glance reveals that Cal's roster has only about 50% returners from last season. That's a massive turnover, many at key offensive positions. Ott goes from the top freshman to the veteran leader in one year. Both lines provide the bulk of the returning rosters, especially on DL, where it looks like over 75% are returning. Hopefully the DL can actually stay healthy. That would be a big deal for the season's prognosis.

I always look through the roster for the Lamorinda kids since I live out there. Is that a mis-print for Tyler Murphy? A 6' tall, 200# OL?
You have a wicked sense of humor.Rushinbear said:The OL will keep the DL healthy.heartofthebear said:

Well in this transfer portal era there will be lots of turnover. Last year USC turned over a similar number and went 11-1 in the regular season. As you point out there is returning experience along both lines. But the transfers along the OL are expected to be significant upgrades.heartofthebear said:
