Reported topic was apparently how to split the concessions from each of the 3 admits. SMU reported to abstain on media share for the first 7 years now.
If this is true apparently a deal may be already done and it's now FSU fighting with everyone else over the 60 mil a year in concessions.

Maybe not a done, done deal since flipping 1 or more of the no votes may be conditional on their knowing how the money will be divided, but definitely a really good sign.

reduced shares for Cal and Stanfurd is bouncing around sports talking heads

Certain that Cal, Stanford and SMU will be offered spots in the ACC if they accept very reduced shares of TV revenue. How reduced? SMU and Stanford are apparently willing to join the ACC and receive no TV $ for several years. That certainly undermines Cal's negotiating position. B1G may come in at the last minute and lowball Cal and Stanford.

saying that Calford and SMU will be invited to join the ACC for very reduced TV revenue shares and all 3 will accept.
We will see what percent of that prediction comes to pass. Obviously negotiations are in a state of flux but Calford has very minimal leverage.

james arthur knowlton is saying that the colorado spring senior all star hockey team will make it to the championship quarterfinals but only if they hold dwayne "the great one" schletsky to to less than 2 goals or something

why are people still clinging to B1G fantasies? It is NEVER going to happen.
I'm looking forward to the East Coast trips, and avoiding the monotony of the fly over states of the Fly Over Conference aka the B1G Boring. Games against the Buckeyes and Wolverines would be fun obviously, but unless you are flying in before the game and flying out right after, staying in a flyover state is not appealing.

a b1g offer seems unlikely at this point but not entirely impossible. the fact that you consider some of the greatest parts of America flyover states proves that you are an idiot

Way to just dismiss the majority of the states that make up this wonderful nation. If you were going for hyperbole, you accomplished your goal.

ahahaha get over yourself. put down that pseudo-patriotrism pipa. theres a reason they are called fly over states. and your defense of them was as boring as those states are.

hick 1: "what do you wanna do today billy bob?"
hick 2: "gee, I don't know, drive past the miles and miles of cornfields to get to a town square with fast food joints covered in Murica flags"

lolol that is actually a quite accurate descrption of the midwest, bruh. cornfields and flags in equal measure. saddest thing ever. only reason those states exist is so that the Airline companies can charge you extra for flying over them on your way to your destination. lolol

the fact you have no sense of humour proves that Cal's admission standards failed to weed out imbeciles of your caliber. tragically, muppets like you make their way into our hallowed grounds far too often. you desperately need a 1000 mg Korova bar suppository to calm your a** down, maybe then you could learn to take a joke.

Whenever you get called out for your lousy one-note schtick, your auto-reflex defense is always some variant on "you don't have a sense of humor" / "get over yourself" / "learn to take a joke." Here's a tip: you are patently unfunny. The sheer stupidity of several of your posts cannot be masked simply by accusing others of not getting the "joke."

There was nothing really wrong with his original post from a sports message board context. The B1G rejected us, but the ACC wants us and it looks like we are going there, so posting essentially "eff the B1G and your boring cold Midwest cities, I'd rather travel to the East Coast and the campuses of the ACC" is par for the course. Making the most of the situation, some truth, with a tinge of sour grapes. He really didn't need to be castigated for that, but once he was, yeah everything went off the rails after that.

bro is lost in his feels. lolol
its hilarious how bootytickled you are that you didn't notice your nonsequitur. "whenever" implies that I have cracked jokes before that one, which doesn't happen, son.

get therapy. you are seriously having a mental breakdown because you take yourself and your shtick seriously. tell your pyschiatrist that you are struggling again with basic communication on the internet. your daily dose needs to get adjusted. lol

I just hate the dismissiveness of terms like "flyover states" and "cornfield" wasteland, etc, etc. Northern California is an awesome place to live, and I love it here, but there are many B1G locales that would be a lot of fun to visit.

I just feel like we should be better than dismissing an entire section of the country, that was my main deal.

it isn't sour grapes. I never wanted Cal to join the B1G. from day 1 of me commenting about the realignment I was talking against the B1G for multiple reasons, such as the reduced shares that hamstring Cal so it couldn't compete against teams that already have huge advantages. being a punching bag for the big boys in that conference is a bad idea, and beyond that I spoke about the deleterious affects on all the other sports, which holds true for ACC, as well. there is an Op-ed that just made mainstream news (CNN) about this very subject, how TV execs are devouring college athletics.

ultimately, i wasn't castigated. he and his buddy whining are doing just that whining, their feelings don't register as any sort of authority so they can't castigate anyone. they're full of themselves. I was using humour to clown them. which I did. and since they are still lost in their feels, I will keep clowning them while reiterating my arguments which remain uncontested.

I'm in favor of the Pacific/Atlantic Conference, or......the PACC (I doubt the Pac will remain if Cal and stanfurd jump to the ACC, so there should be no conflict in using that name).

flyover state is a joke. I haven't heard anybody refer to cornfields as wasteland, but ok. just a reminder, I was cracking jokes about it, but some folks like Lunchtime are overly sensitive.

I have been through most of the contiguous 48 and I can honestly say I understand why football is so big out there in the midwest and south. There are places more mind numbingly boring than B1G country, for sure, like Texas that loves to do everything bigger, including their special brand of boring. BBQ and beer can only hold you over for so long. ranches, hunting, and national parks help, but I also have a thing for warm sunny beaches and not freezing my ass off unless I'm snowboarding.

I attended Oxford for graduate school, sometimes the British spelling sticks.

and, bruh, I am a younger generation than you, apparently. this isn't the 1920s or the 1970s, nobody says "jive" anymore. lost in your feels is slang for someone that is overly emotional. I can code switch.

Limey? I'm Native American, aka the original people of these lands, I am not British. It is obvious I have more wisdom than you, however. I went to school at Oxford, I did not come from the British isles.

You know, in Native American cultures we distinguish between elders (those that carry our tribes knowledge, culture, and history) and old people. Vast majority of folks will never be elders, just old people trapped in the past complaining. Just sayin, you sound like you live in an old folks home, bruh.

too many letters, bad font, looks appropriate for a 3rd tier conference.
