Surprised no one asked Wilcox Must be serious and they dont want Auburn to know. My guess is they were told not to ask. Otherwise poor journalism

Its ambiguous, but they were looking at the non-throwing shoulder area.

didn't garber have a injury to his non throwing arm that kept him out for 3-4 games (and blew up our season). that they listed SJ5 as questionable for the second half hopefully means its not that serious.

I'm fine with keeping it vague if they can. Defenses have been known to target QBs at the spot of their injury.

Had a brace under his pads on the left shoulder after he came back. Probably a shoulder sprain.

Like you all, I am hoping for the best. But just like Chase, Sam likes to run and I am sure there will be designed plays to allow it. Also perhaps like Chase, Sam can't help but think of himself like a running back and runs harder than maybe he needs to on some plays which one could argue makes him more prone to injury. Anyway, glad we had Finley and let's move on to Auburn game.

And what was Cindric's injury? They didn't ask Wilcox about that either.

Pointless to ask because you will get a vague non-ansswer anyways. It's a waste of time to ask.

By that standard, we should just cancel the press conferences entirely.

By most any standard, we should cancel the press conferences entirely. Entertaining press conferences died with Mike Leach.

I am quite ok with this. When was the last time you heard anything informative? I think the only purpose it serves is:
.1.) Emotional outbursts (good and bad) are entertaining
2.) Getting to see and know players as individuals

Nothing outside of this. The journalists are also to blame as 90% of the questions suck...."your team had 8 sacks today, do you think that played a role in today's victory?" These are the types of questions that get asked.
