I am quite ok with this. When was the last time you heard anything informative? I think the only purpose it serves is:
.1.) Emotional outbursts (good and bad) are entertaining
2.) Getting to see and know players as individuals
Nothing outside of this. The journalists are also to blame as 90% of the questions suck...."your team had 8 sacks today, do you think that played a role in today's victory?" These are the types of questions that get asked.
