The D isn't used to playing against this many possessions against a good offense in so short a time. Oh yeah cause we scored 32 points in 3 quarters.

This game is over. So is the season. No BOWL GAME. Time to ago to sleep again till the next great projections from the powers that be. Very sad.

Positives:

Mendoza looks OK.

The entire offense looks OK even without our top play makers (Hunter and Ott) making the impact they normally do.

We are getting a lot more pressure on the QB than we have in past games it just hasn't mattered. (DJ and Oregon St play calling have been brilliant)

Negatives:

We are being out coached in all phases.

Our DBs are badly under performing.

They know our defense is trash.

Wilcox is a colossal POS who should have resigned years ago. I'll bet my life that he doesn't have a Power 5 head coaching gig again. He needs to be gone ASAP.

So we found a QB but lost our best defensive player, best offensive player, and a vital OL. This is Cal football.

IDF leadership is probably sitting there tonight thinking, "Well, at least we're not the Cal coaching staff".

I didn't see it but I think he said the receiver turned inside before changing directions.

I'm sure Wilcox is vowing to never let our offense get so out of control and put his defense out on the field so often by the 3rd quarter. I mean when you destroy the defensive game plan so recklessly you undermine the undermine the narrative fellas. Lol. I mean it's ok to score fast and often on a patsy like UNT because they can't punch back but we gotta keep the genie in the bottle against tough opponents or the optics will stink on top of losing.

Lost in all of this is that we've played Oregon State annually for decades and this may be the last time these teams meet for years. The Beavs and Cougs did nothing to deserve being left without a conference next year.
