It looked pretty awesome. On tv it sounded like like CAL had more fans at the game.

Fernando was standing around after giving the interview with the network shaking hands, taking photos, signing stuff, etc for a LONG time. He deserves success!eabandit said:

At this point rushing Stanford's field to get (keep) the axe is tradition. I don't care how bad they are or how good we are. We win, we go on their field. Simple as that.JSC 76 said:
The curmudgeon in me said: "Seriously? Rushing the field after beating a really bad Stanford team for the 3rd straight time?"
And I told the curmudgeon to shut up and let the kids have fun.

I'd love to know how common it is for the opposing team's fans to storm the home team's field. Cause I don't think I've ever seen it done except for us. I think that's pretty cool, no matter how bad Stanford is.
And this series has validated many times the old cliche "records don't matter".Sebastabear said:At this point rushing Stanford's field to get (keep) the axe is tradition. I don't care how bad they are or how good we are. We win, we go on their field. Simple as that.JSC 76 said:

Unscientifically I say 2-1 Cal fans. Many Stanford sections were sparsely filled.HateRed said:

Fernando is essentially a fan. He's one of us. He's just a got a hell of a lot more football talent than us. BTW, I had a vantage point at the game where I could really watch him throw. He's got an elite arm. The ball gets to the receiver really fast. It's almost like Kapernick fast but it's got just enough touch so the receivers hang on. He's got to eliminate the 1 INT mind blowingly dumb throw per game and he will be on his way to the NFL.TheBearWontDie said:Fernando was standing around after giving the interview with the network shaking hands, taking photos, signing stuff, etc for a LONG time.
