I remember before last season when Nike took over they said they didn't have time to design/manufacture new uniforms. I thought we were told that there were new threads coming for '24. Anyone know if that's still the plan and, if so, when they start showing them off?

Look at the new Minnesota unis. Same design just different colors.
so with CALIFORNIA across the back? Or maybe even script California. I think I like that!
Not sure about the California on the back. But definitely the stripes on the shoulders (not sure about the pants) And big letters albeit different font.

I'm not sure where this picture is from, but I would guess that the "Minnesota" here is a placeholder for a player's name, and just printed here to show that the names go there.

Agreed. AND these are actually the old Minnesota uniforms. The new ones are here - https://uni-watch.com/2024/06/07/minnesota-golden-gophers-unveil-new-uniforms-for-2024-season/ Trend seems to be going the way of simple and more classic designs (with still every color jersey and pants and helmet to mix and match). Baylor just did the same thing as well

Yeah, in our case, the "Minnesota" is a placeholder for "BERKELEY"!

Years back, specifically in late 60's and early to mid 70's there was a trend with some "mountain west" uni teams to have "Old Western Type" numbers. U of Wyoming still uses them though not always consistently year to year. And I think Utah State did too for several seasons.
Can't say I ever really loved the style and kind felt they were hokey.
