1. I always suspected that his estrangement from his family was due to 1) them being overly religous and 2) his older and younger brothers taking advantage of his fame, and to a lesser extend his parents.

That's sad to learn about the wedding party issue. I didn't know that. Franny is a really good dude, and I know they were super close. In fact, Franny introduced me to Aaron once, so for it to go down like that ... disappointing to hear.
