For those not watching, in the first half, the run-heavy GT offense had two TD drives. FSU had a TD with 2-pt conversion, then a FG, and then the last play of the 1st half was a 59 yd FG with some room to spare.
It's tied 14-14 coming out of halftime.
I think if Cal can contain FSU's run game, they have a chance!

DJU is reminding me that Jonathan Smith is a heck of a coach.
That catch on the punt return might be the best catch I see all year. Amazing the returner hung on to that.
FSU has potential weaknesses at WR, QB, and OL. Their defense is getting the ball run on them but that's GT's bread and butter. I wanna see our OL first before I say we're gonna run all over them. It doesn't help that Vatikani is hurt right now and we might be down 2 starters for the opener, if our front comes in healthy then I have a lot more faith

For reference, in The Athletic's ranking of all FBS teams, they have GT at 48 and Cal at 50. Before we have a chance to see this year's supposedly improved team, I would say GT looks like a better team than last year's Cal team. I'm really itchin' to see what we look like next week!

I almost choked on my nachos laughing as that kick sailed through the uprights . It's so easy to hate on FSU cuz of their arrogant fanbase
